Event:  Exercise With Iris

This is a low impact exercise program for ladies including the following components:
aerobics, muscles toning, flexibility, core stability, light free weights, and exercises to defer bone loss. (Special components for osteoporosis on request.) So join us on both Mondays and Wednesdays

Bring a friend or neighbour and drop in as guests and try a class. You will enjoy it.

Iris is certified with Ontario Fitness council, CanFit Pro, and National Fitness Leadership Alliance.

Details:  The Young Adults Group ("YAG") is a thriving ministry at Bayview Glen Church serving the 18-35 age bracket. We are a healthy mix of University/College, as well as post-grad students, career, single, married, with children; so don't hesitate to check us out on Mondays @ 7:00pm in the HUB.
 
Our meetings consist of worship, fellowship, prayer and studying  God's Word together. Starting in September we will be going through the book study, "Radical" by David Platt. "What is Jesus worth to you? Do you believe that Jesus is worth abandoning everything for?"
 
We are committed to becoming a COMMUNITY of young adults who KNOW one another, who LOVE one another, who PRAY for and SERVE one another in the name of JESUS.

Alpha in English for Speaker of Other Languages is the Alpha course specifically designed for people whose first language is not English. It is presented at a slower pace. Instead of using videos, live speakers present the material in smaller segments and more opportunity for discussion is given. Programs will run on both Mondays and Thursdays. Looking to join the choir?     

The choir is in need of new members who have the call of God on their lives to be involved in leading the congregation to worship, honour and glorify God. Opportunities exist in this wonderful ministry of music both on a regular basis or as part of our Christmas Musical. Please pray about whether God is calling you to use your talents for Him in this area of ministry. Practices are in the Choir room located behind the stage from 7:30 - 9:30.

Event:  Knitting Club

This ministry group meets each Wednesday to create knitted items that are donated to a variety of groups. Over 100 warm hats, mitts and scarves have been given to Sanctuary, a Toronto inner city mission. Approximately 500 teddy bears have been distributed to many countries in the world through Samaritan's Purse and our short term mission's program. New members are welcome! If you are unable to join the Kintting Club, but would like the patterns and wool to knit at home, please contact Iris Pot.
