Doncrest Early Learning Centre Please Note: Children ages 4-12 in Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 6 join our main worship in the sanctuary with their families for the first part of the service, and then they are dismissed when Sunday school begins. All children must be signed in using our Parent Pager System. For new comers and for more information please visit our CDM Information Table located in the Child Discipleship Wing.
Our nursery provides quality childcare for infants and toddlers during services and select special events. Our screened, trained and devoted teachers will engage the younger children in worship, song, activities, and stories. Parents can be contacted in the Sanctuary using a pager system. Children are cared for in age appropriate areas.
Our teachers will be able to connect with children in various activities through interaction; through inspiration of the Word in using the Desiring God curriculum and live worship; and through leadership programs, workshops and modules available for parents to encourage/illuminate them to become more engaged with what their children are learning in Child Discipleship Ministries.
Children will be gathering together for worship in Fellowship Hall, and then teachers will take their children to delegated classrooms. At the 11:30 children’s service, children may be placed in age appropriate small groups in Fellowship Hall with their teachers.
Special Child Discipleship Ministries events are organized for children and their parents. Participation in these outings will help your child(ren) fell more at home at Bayview Glen Church. Watch for more info in our monthly newsletters and flyers. Please Note: This program runs between September and April only. AWANA club meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for children! Trained leaders guide children ages 3-11 through game time and achievement oriented curriculm, emphasizing Bible memorization. Special evente are planned throughout the year:
